This Safari tour will begin with the discovery of the wonders of the Marahoué National Park. Located in the Bouaflé region, the Marahoué National Park was created in 1956 as a wildlife reserve and was established as a national park in 1968. It covers an area of 101.000 hectares and it is perfectly equipped to welcome visitors and offers a quality environment. Endowed with several clearings, the park is home to crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, bongos, buffalo, cynocephalus and many other animals that you will discover.

We will then take the course to the discovery of the city of antelopes “Daloa”. Visit of the craft center, which is considered to be one of the oldest centers in the country. It is very popular with tourists and visitors who go there to appreciate the rich cultural heritage symbolized by its flagship product: the famous Daloa tapettes. We will then visit the sacred monkeys of Gbétitapéa. They represent the unmissable tourist attraction of the region, they occupy the trees, parks and streets while benefiting from the protection of the inhabitants. Considered sacred, they come and go in complete freedom, while offering a unique spectacle. We will go to the discovery of the elephant rock of Brizéboua, very little open to the public until recently, the elephant rock of Brizéboua remains one of the most representative tourist wonders of the region. According to legend, it derives its origin from an elephant that turned into a rock after being shot by a hunter.
 
The wonders of Tai National Park await us for an unparalleled safari. Established in 1973, Tai National Park covers an area of 350,000 ha and takes its name from the town of TAI. Tai National Park has been registered since 1978 as a Biosphere Reserve and since 1981 it has been classified as World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. With nearly 140 species of mammals including 12 endemic, 240 species of birds and many species of insects, 1,800 plant species including 138 endemic, this park is endowed with extraordinary flora and fauna. It is home to pygmy hippos, elephants, red colobus, forest buffalo, a wide variety of primates and many more.
 
The magnificent seaside town of San Pedro will welcome us for a day of relaxation and tasting on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Cradled by the Gulf of Guinea which offers its 150 kilometers of beach, San Pedro is the part of Côte d’Ivoire with the most beautiful beaches. San Pedro has an unparalleled seaside infrastructure and quality hotels. Beautiful romantic beaches where you can taste seafood and relax in wonderful surroundings await you.
 
We will go to discover the town of Soubré which is the capital of the Nawa region. This region is renowned for its cocoa production and also nicknamed “the new cocoa loop”. We will visit a cocoa plantation and the wonderful Nawa Falls.
 
The political capital of the country “Yamoussoukro” offers us several must-see attractions. We will visit Our Lady of Peace Basilica, the largest Christian religious building in the world, built between 1986 and 1989 on the model of St. Peter Basilica in Rome. It was inaugurated by Pope John Paul II in 1989; we will visit the FHB Foundation (Félix Houphouet-Boigny Foundation for peace research), created in 1973 and was at the origin of the international conference for peace, organized by UNESCO. The Crocodile Lake at the edge of the Presidential Palace shall be a must see attraction in this tour. Here, we find crocodiles that weigh up to one tone and measure almost 6 meters in length. We will then go to meet the Baoulé populations of the region and we will attend the performance of traditional dances with the use of masks as a central element. If time permits, we will meet the weavers of Bomizambo, it is a small village in the Yamoussoukro district where the art of weaving is passed down from generation to generation. This is where the traditional Baoulé waistcloths are made, which are among the most beautiful African fabrics.
 
The city tour of Abidjan will lead us to discover some attractions of the economic capital. We will visit the Museum of Civilizations, it is a State museum that was created in 1942 and which has a rich and varied museum collection estimated at 15,210 authentic pieces from all regions of the Ivory Coast. The museum’s collection is made up of various categories of objects. These are statues, masks, musical instruments, archaeological pieces, attributes of power, weights to weigh gold, everyday objects, adornments, photographs, slave shackles, doors sculptures, pottery, textiles etc. These objects retrace the history of the intermingling of Ivorian cultures and populations.

Day 1 : Hexagon – Abidjan

Arrival and reception at Félix Houphouët-Boigny airport in Abidjan by our agents, transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 & 3 : Abidjan- Bouafle (Marahoue National Park)

Breakfast and heading for the discovery of the wonders of the Marahoué National Park. Arrival, entry formalities at the park and installation at the lodge or hotel. We will devote 2 days to the discovery of the National Park, an incredible Safari awaits us in the National Park of Marahoué. Located in the Bouaflé region, the Marahoué National Park was created in 1956 as a wildlife reserve and was established as a national park in 1968. It covers an area of 101,000 hectares and it is perfectly equipped to welcome visitors and offers a quality environment. Endowed with several clearings, the park is home to crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, bongos, buffalo, 

cynocephalus and many other animals that you will discover. Departure at the end of the afternoon of the second day for Daloa, installation at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Marahoue National Park (Bouafle) – Daloa

Breakfast and visit to the city of Daloa which is also known as “the city of antelopes”. Visit of the craft center, which is considered to be one of the oldest centers in the country. We will devote 3 days to discovering the wonderful flora and fauna of Tai National Park. Established in 1973, Tai National Park covers an area of 350,000 ha and takes its name from the town of TAI. Tai National Park has been registered since 1978 as a Biosphere Reserve and since 1981 it has been classified as World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. With nearly 140 species of mammals including 12 endemic, 240 species of birds and many species of insects, 1,800 plant species including 138 endemic, this park is endowed with extraordinary flora and 

fauna. It is home to pygmy hippos, elephants, red colobus, forest buffalo, a wide variety of primates and many more. Departure in the afternoon of the third day for San Pedro, arrival, installation at the hotel free evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: San Pedro

Cradled by the Gulf of Guinea which offers its 150 kilometers of beach, San Pedro is part of Côte d’Ivoire with the most beautiful beaches. San Pedro has an unparalleled seaside infrastructure and quality hotels. Beautiful romantic beaches where you can taste seafood and relax in wonderful surroundings await you. After a lazy day at the beach and exploring San Pedro, return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 9: San Pedro – Soubré

Early wake-up, breakfast and departure for Soubré. Discovery of the town of Soubré, which is the capital of the Nawa region. This region is renowned for its cocoa production and also nicknamed “the new cocoa loop”. Visit of a cocoa plantation and discovery of the process of cultivation and exploitation of cocoa, visit the wonderful Nawa Falls which also serve as a place of pilgrimage for the people of the region. Departure at the end of the afternoon for Yamoussoukro, arrival, installation at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 : Yamoussoukro

Arrival in Abidjan, lunch in a restaurant, city tour and visit of the museum of civilizations, which is a State museum situated at Abidjan and founded in 1942. The civilizations museum has a very rich and varied collection of artifacts that are made up of about 15 210 authentic pieces coming from all the regions of the Ivory Coast.
